Robert F. Wisehart, 92, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday morning March 22, 2016, at his residence, CrownPointe of Greenfield. He was born July 1,1923, in Shirley, Ind., the son of the late Orville and Leone (Sheets) Wisehart.

Bob was a graduate of Wilkinson High School Class of 1941 and proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Army, 99th Infantry Division.  He served in France, Belgium and Germany. He was the Postmaster of the Shirley post office from 1953-1968, owned and operated Bob & Gracie’s Ladies and Children ware, Bob’s Unique Shop, and was an avid collector of Indian Relics and arrowheads. Bob loved IU basketball and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, of 47 years, Grace Wisehart; two daughters, Jane (Robert) Sparks of New Castle, Phyllis (Dwight) Addison of Greenfield; stepson, Jim (Becky) Harrell of Wanamaker; stepdaughter, Judy (Frank) Hilcz of Knightstown; grandchildren, Kevin Sparks, Teresa (Paul) Leisure, Angela Jessup, Deanna (Dee Dee) Addison, Scott Addison, Dion (Donna) Coomer, Jennifer Coomer, Dan (Diane) Florea Jr., Dawn Florea, Carrie (Chris) Underwood, Jim (Jenny) Florea, David (Heather) Harrell, John (Leigh) Harrell, Ellen (Rusty) Skinner; 18 great- grandchildren and brother; Joseph (Sue) Wisehart of Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janelle Coomer in 2008; stepdaughter, Margie (Moge) Jones; granddaughter, Mischelle Florea and four sisters, Lorene Mahoney, Ruth Hines, Martha Harvey and Barbara Wood.

Friends may call at the funeral home, Friday, March 25, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Dennis Spegal officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown with Military Graveside rites by the Knightstown American Legion #152.
