Peggy J. (Willits) (Kendrick) Hudson, 80, of Fortville, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016, at home surrounded by her family. She was born March 14, 1936, in Shelby County, to the late Roy and Edith (Ballard) Willits and was a 1954 graduate of the old Fortville High School.
Peggy worked in as a bookkeeper for Pendleton Pike Auto Sales and several other area car dealerships. She also attended New Life Christian Fellowship and was a former member of Fortville Christian Church, Psi Iota Xi, and the Fortville Jaycees. She enjoyed traveling and fishing.
She is survived by children, Rick L. Kendrick (Rosie) and Randy (Lori) Kendrick and Renee (Don) Edwards, all of Fortville; grandchildren, Robby, Reggie, Cody and Casey Kendrick and Trey and Hunter Edwards and sister, Betty Lane of Fortville.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husbands, Roderick Kendrick in 1994 and Jake Hudson in 2012 and sisters, Mary Addison, Ruth Hall and Katie Hudson.
Friends may call from Noon until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A celebration of Peggy’s life will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
