Eastern Hancock Schools Corp. conducted its annual science fair across all grades, from kindergarten to high school.

Jenna Smith, a freshman, won the high school science fair prize. Her project tested the effect of heat on the coagulation of egg protein; it was called “The Heat is On.”

Winners in kindergarten were: Abby Kaucher, Charles Wallace, Luke Manship, Kaitlyn Marshall, Hank Lee, Amelia Shores, Aubrey Whittington and Kieko Leach

Winners in first grade were: Theodore Hanna, Sydney Johnson, Lucy Riegsecker, Clara Wallace, Zeke Settles, Hayden Jackson, Brady Cole, Garrett Bridges and Makenzie Koch

Winners in second grade were: Jackson Fisher, Zachary Delk, Eli Manship, Sarah Ebert, Conner Wittgren, Austin Brown, Hannah Wittgren, Savannah Hardy and Aubrey Smith.

Winners in third grade were: Luke Schilling, Garrett Shaw, Ellie Meyer, Alaina Parker, Keaton Guest, Kaitlyn Lowes, Ethan Sipes and Boaz Dixon.

Winners in fourth grade were: Griffin Lawrence, Tori Parker, Kyle Messer, Kate Ferguson, Ella Neill, John Henry Gray, Brooklyn Willis, Emily Grant, Paige Robertson and Lindsay Locker.

Winners in fifth grade were: Sarah Contreraz, Katelyn Delk, Ella Shaw, Cora McDaniel, Ashley Edwards and Lexi Spoon.

Winners in middle school were: Kendall Leonhard, Mackinah Wampler, Alivia Gerde and Paige Spegal, Gracie Beaudry and Lili Hunt, Becca Wallen, Taylor Koch and Shelby Jackson, Zoe Benefiel and Abby Ebbert, Alie Bewley, and Sarah Gibson and Abby Willard.
