To the editor:
The Friends of the Library March sale of used books, CDs and DVDs was a good start toward our 2016 goals. Our organization hosts four large sales annually to raise money to support special events held by Hancock County Public Library.
We would like to publicly thank the many volunteers who helped set up the display and helped bag customers’ purchases. Your willingness to serve the communities of Hancock County enabled us keep the sale open all library hours Friday through Monday and helped with the extra effort needed on Monday’s clearance.
Your contributions are much appreciated. We hope you will generously give your time and enthusiasm to our future sales scheduled for June, August and November.
