Hugh “Marvin” Reier, 48, of Greenfield, died on Monday, March 7, 2016. He was born on March 15, 1967, in Dayton, Ohio, as the son of Harvey Lee Potter and Vergie Maggard-Jones.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Tammy Reier of Greenfield; children, David (Krista) Reier, Jon Reier, Danny Reier, Veronica Reier and James Reier all of Greenfield; brothers, Willis, Howard and Harvey all of Greenfield; sisters, Vanda Potter and Velma Potter both of Greenfield and mother-in-law, Barbara Curtis of Greenfield.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Vergie Maggard-Jones; daughter, Veronica Reier and Joe Maggard.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 11 a.m. Chaplain Katherine Murray will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
