Footlite Musicals

INDIANAPOLIS — Footlite Musicals presents the Tony Award-winning “Avenue Q” weekends through March 20 at the Hedback Theatre, 1847 N. Alabama St. This puppet-filled musical follows the story of Princeton, a recent college grad, who moves into a shabby New York apartment on Avenue Q.

He and his newfound friends struggle to find jobs, dates and their ever-elusive purpose in life. This production is recommended for mature audiences only due to language and adult themes.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Mud Creek Players present “Tom Jones,” weekends through March 12 at the Mud Creek Playhouse, 9740 E. 86th St. Tom Jones, a man of questionable birth, is madly in love with Sophia, who has been promised to another man.

When Sophia runs away, Tom goes after her in a romp through the bed chambers and back roads of England.
