Twenty North Gallery plans artist reception

GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Arts and Cultural Council will host an artists’ reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Twenty North Gallery, 20 N. State St. for three artists: Wayne Campbell, Sondra Cromwell and Rhonda Bontrager, whose work is currently hanging in the gallery.

Artists Campbell and Cromwell will be in attendance at the reception. The public is invited to attend.

County library sets Disney villain party

GREENFIELD — Teens are invited to celebrate their favorite Disney villains from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road.

Make a Red Queen hat or Maleficent horns while enjoying film clips and stories of Disney characters that cackle, scheme and summon dark clouds. Register for this free event at hcplibrary.org or call 317-462-5141, ext. 238.

Design Center offering decorating workshop

CARMEL — The Indiana Design Center, 200 S. Rangeline Road, announces its March interior decorating workshop entitled “2016 Design Outlook: Fabulous Trends from High Point to Home” at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The workshop is presented by Rebekah Perry Clark from Decorating Den Interiors. As the workshop is free, attendees are asked to bring a donation item for Second Helpings, an agency dedicated to fighting hunger and promoting culinary job training in Indianapolis. Ideal donations include pantry spices, pasta or rice.
