Community Arts School planning summer camps
INDIANAPOLIS — Butler Community Arts School will offer more than a dozen summer camps for children and adults interested in the arts.
Camp themes include ballet, musical instruments, voice, arts, jazz music, piano, theater, stringed instruments and percussion. All camps take place at the Butler University campus. The camps run June 5 through July 30.
Buck Creek Players set audition for ‘Assassins’
INDIANAPOLIS — The Buck Creek Players will hold open auditions for Stephen Sondheim’s “Assassins” at 7 p.m. March 21 and 22 at the playhouse, 11150 Southeastern Ave. Directors are looking for a diverse group of 12 men, four women and one boy for this Tony award-winning musical. Auditioners should come with 16 to 20 measures of a prepared song. Performances are scheduled for the weekends of May 27 to June 12. Contact [email protected] for more information.
