Martha Louise Rennard, 99, of Indianapolis, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, March 3, 2016. She was born Feb. 24, 1917, to the late Walter and Emillie Jones Cook.

Martha was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School. She married Charles S. Rennard, November 3, 1939, and he preceded her in death in 1976.

Martha was a former member of Tuxedo Park Baptist Church where she played the piano for 25 years, and most recently was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church. She was a volunteer at Community Hospital East for 20 years.

The most important thing in her life was spending time with her family, who adored her.

Martha is survived by her children, Charlene Martin (Dave), Donald Rennard, Marcia Sapp (Dave) and Betty Widbin (Bill); grandchildren, John Martin (Stephanie), Janet Mann (Jeff), Dan Martin (Carrie), Craig Rennard (Sandra), Joel Rennard (fiancée, Mandy), Jeff Sapp (Allison), Laurie Rigsbee (Kevin), Chris Sapp (fiancée, Katie), Annie Brandt (Jon), Kyle Widbin (Lauren) and Julie Widbin; sisters, Dorothy Madinger and Sara Grover and 21 great-grandchildren.

A sister, Mabel Bunker, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel,9606 E. Washington St. with funeral services Monday at 10 a.m.
