Andrew Lark Hooten, 66, of Taswell, Ind., passed away at his home with his family beside him on Feb. 6, 2016. He was born to the late Roscoe Hooten and the late Constance (Sioka) Hooten in Indianapolis, on July 8, 1949. Andrew married Tammy (Stone) Hooten on Dec. 24, 2013.

Andrew was a Vietnam Army Veteran in which he was awarded The Bronze Star. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge of Salem, IN # 21 where he was a 33 degree Mason.

Andrew was retired from Ford Motor Co. in Indianapolis and was a member of Tunnel Hill Methodist Church in English, Ind.

Besides his wife, Tammy, Andrew is survived by his children, Leslie (Sineda) Hooten of Indianapolis, Jason (Sommer) Hooten of Fishers, Ryan Hooten of Indianapolis and Aaron (Sarah) Hooten of Fortville; stepchildren, Justin Stickney of Anmherst, N.H. and Lacey Stickney of Mason, N.H.; brothers and sisters, Roscoe Hooten of Marengo, IN, Suzanne Hooten McClanahan of Greencastle, Robin Hooten of Fort Wayne, Dwight Hooten of English, Ind., Dr. Mary Hooten Bivens of Muncie and Elizabeth Hooten Clark of Middletown; six grandchildren and 1 on the way.

Cremation was chosen with a memorial service at Tunnel Hill Church of English, Ind., to be planed for a later date.
