GREENFIELD — The Upsilon chapter of Psi Iota Xi recently met at the Springhurst Health Campus clubhouse in Greenfield.

Rene Guy and Lori Elmore served as hostesses, and the members were joined by Southeast District Officer Sandy Darst Johnson.

Upsilon chapter member Mickie Hansen is serving as the president of the Indiana Association of Psi Iota Xi during the 2015-16 year. As a result, the chapter will host delegates and guests from all Indiana chapters at the annual state meeting in April to discuss and vote on the next fiscal year’s philanthropic priorities.

Psi Iota Xi is a charitable women’s organization with focuses of literacy, literature and helping those with speech and hearing difficulties, according to its website.

The Upsilon chapter will host a style show at 5:30 p.m. April 3 at Cynthia’s Hallmark, 1584 N. State St., Greenfield.

Attendees will be served appetizers and champagne punch and receive several store coupons, a free scarf and the chance to win door prizes. The event will support the organization’s charitable efforts in the areas of speech and hearing, and art, music and literature.

Tickets will be available in March and cost $15 each, with proceeds benefiting the Upsilon chapter. Contact Lori McCarter at [email protected] or 317-490-6314 for more information.
