Barbara Ellen Barker, 83, Noblesville, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016. She was born on May 11, 1932, in Anderson, Indiana to Gerald “Tommy” and Eva (White) Huffman.
She is survived by three sons, Richard (Kathy) Barker of Noblesville, Keith (Lora) Barker of Noblesville, and Tim (Jackie) Barker of Lapel; eight grandchildren; ten great- grandchildren and one sister, Avanelle "Avie" Halvorson of Noblesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Morris E. Barker; two brothers, Harold and David Huffman; and a sister, Helen McDonald.
Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. A funeral service took held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at Prairie Baptist Church in Noblesville with her family officiating. Burial took place in Prairie Memorial Cemetery, Noblesville.
