The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four times annually, and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection Reports.

Type of inspection: Routine

Violations: NC/R – clean and reseal coving in raw chicken cooler (civil penalties could be applied); NC – repair coving at mop sink.

Jack’s Pizza

Location: 1506½ N. State St., Greenfield

Type of inspection: Routine

No violations found.

Ro’s Bar and Grill

Location: 1514 N. State St., Greenfield

Type of inspection: Routine

Violations: C – hand washing sink is blocked, do not use dish washing sink to wash hands, corrected; C – expired ham in deli prep table, corrected; NC – some lights not working, 90 days to correct; C – need to have food handler certification, need to take manager course, 90 days to correct; NC – need to have food thermometer with thin tip for thin patties, 90 days to correct.
