Vivian F. Weimer, 81, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at Hancock Regional Hospital, in Greenfield. She was born on May 7, 1934, in Pickett County, Tenn., to the late Albert M. and Ethel (Cross) Foster.

Vivian married Lynn Arthur Weimer on Oct. 8, 1960. She attended Earlham College, Reid Memorial Hospital, and St. Francis College in Illinois. Vivian spent her career as a registered nurse for Hancock Regional Hospital for 33 years until her retirement in 2004. She was a member of the nursing society attended the Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints.

Vivian is survived by her son, Kenneth Michael “Mike” (Susan) Weimer of Noblesville; grandchildren, Dylan, Madison, Travis Weimer and nieces, Judy Sharp, and Dana Sue Risch and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lynn; brothers, Carl Foster, Rev. Allen Foster; sisters, Beatrice (Allen) Shannon, Alberta Gilliam (Ray), Josephine Brennan and nephew, Jason Dees.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W Main St. Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, at the funeral home. Private family burial will be held at a later date at Goshen Cemetery in Richmond, Ind.
