David L. Call, 60, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, at his home. He was born on May 4, 1955, in Greenfield, Mass., as the son of Leslie and Jean (Powers) Call.

He graduated from Greenfield High School in Greenfield, Mass. David attended Greenfield College in Greenfield, Mass. He married Karen A. (Foster) on Aug. 22, 1987, in Greenfield, Mass.

David was the Co-Owner of Call’s Corner Stone in Greenfield, Mass., for over 20 years; as well as Co-Owner of Cheese Box in Greenfield, Mass. He was a member of Polish-St. Stan’s Club in Turner’s Falls, Mass.

He was a proud father, loving Pop-pop, gentle and kind man who gave of himself to others. David was a very talented musician, he loved playing guitar and piano. He loved going to the Hinsdale N.H. race track with his brothers and watching the races. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.  David enjoyed going to baseball games and spending time with his granddaughter. He loved his dog, Boston.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Call of Greenfield; daughter, Jenifer Lee Call Bledsoe of Anderson; brothers, Gregory (Peggy) Call, Edward Call, both of Greenfield, Mass., and Stephen (Michelle) Call of Montague, Mass.; and granddaughter, Isabella Call.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Jean Call and brother, Robert Call.

A memorial service will be held at later date in Massachusetts.
