Anime clubs meeting at library

GREENFIELD — The Anime/Manga Club for Teens meets from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, and the Anime/Manga Club for Adults meets at 7 p.m. Monday at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road.

Both groups focus on the growing interest in Japanese culture and the art of anime and manga. The teen group meeting features a movie and a Japanese craft. Visit hcplibrary.org to register to attend.

Enjoy a cup of tea and a cat

INDIANAPOLIS — Cat lovers are invited to enjoy tea, coffee, hot cocoa and an assortment of bakery treats while getting cozy with an adoptable kitty from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Purr-fect Cup Cat Café at Cat Haven, 2603 N. College Ave.

Author, singer sets appearance

INDIANAPOLIS — Author and singer-songwriter Korby Lenker will read aloud from his new book “Medium Hero” at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Indy Reads Books, 911 Massachusetts Ave.

Lenker’s book features short stories culled from his 15 years as a touring musician.
