William F. Wilson, 64, Greenfield, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016. William was born in Indianapolis, on Dec. 11, 1951, to the late George Henry and Armilla Mary (Zix) Wilson.
He earned his Master of Science degree from IUPUI in Geographic Information Systems. William worked as an actuary for 26 years at American States Insurance and retired from Farm Bureau Insurance. He was a member of Castleton United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Bell Choir. He enjoyed computers, movies, trains, puzzles, history and all things Disney. He had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his beloved family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Rachel M. Wilson Cole (Lucas); brother, James G. Wilson (Beverly S.); aunt, Bobbie Hooker Zix; cousin, Jane Rosenthal (Bob), as well as other extended family members and friends.
William was preceded in death by his wife, of 38 years, Esther Littrell Wilson; parents, George and Armilla and uncle, Bill Zix.
Friends may call from 10am until Noon on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at Castleton United Methodist Church, 7101 Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46256. Funeral services will immediately follow there at Noon. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
