Robert “Bob” L. Jeffers, 66, of Charlottesville, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016. He was born on May 8, 1949, in Hickory Ridge, Ark., as the son of Melvin E. and Helen L. (Dye) Jeffers.
Bob is survived by his wife, Kelly Jeffers of Richmond; stepchildren, Bradley P. (Kristie) Flannery of Syracuse, N.Y. and Sarah Kate (Ryan) Roberts of Richmond; sister, Sue (Ron) Watson of Fortville; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin E. and Helen L. (Dye) Jeffers; brother, Larry E. Jeffers; sisters, Joyce Wilson and Kay O’Fallon.
A graveside service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at Mendon Cemetery in Pendleton. Dr. Randall Parker will be officiating.
