Lisa Muegge, 52, of Greenfield, passed away Jan. 28, 2016. She was born Feb. 19, 1963, in Painesville, Ohio, to the late Robert and Martha Bennett.

She graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine as a Veterinary Technician and spent 25 years working with Eli Lilly and Company and Elanco Animal Health in both Greenfield and Indianapolis.

Her greatest passions were founded in her faith in Jesus and immense love of family, friends, and the community. Her efforts in faith-based ministry span decades, and range from singing with the worship team at Brandywine Community Church, to weekly women’s prison outreach, to organizing the feeding of thousands through the Feast of Plenty annual Thanksgiving ministry in Greenfield, to recent weekly radio broadcast ministries.

She was an active and fervent supporter of the community, and a constant source of joy and encouragement for all who knew her. She was a loving, and dearly loved, wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend who will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Muegge of Greenfield; her children, Joel (Jessica) Hungate, Nathan (Raylene) Hungate, and A.J. Muegge; her sisters, Linda Myers and Laura Brown and her stepmother, Roberta Bennett.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Martha Bennett.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at Park Chapel Christian Church, 1176 E. McKenzie Road, Greenfield, IN 46140.  Pastor David Woods and Mark Wright will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
