Quitman P. Brown
Quitman P. Brown, 93, of Alexandria, passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016. He was born Aug. 23, 1922, in Fortville, to the late Fred and Flora (Lowe) Brown. He served in the Army during World War II.
He is survived by his son, Steven (Mary Ann) Brown; three grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; a granddaughter-in-law; sisters-in-law Brenda Gibbs and Joann Jones and numerous great-grandchildren.
Quitman was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Brown; daughter, Telesa (Robert Sr.) Ferrand; grandson, Chuck Ferrand; two sisters and six brothers.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.
