● Insurance agent receives sales award

GREENFIELD — Tim Barnett, an agent with Shelter Insurance, recently received an award from the company for leading the state in sales during a recent campaign.

John Fentress, regional manager for Shelter Insurance, presented the award to Barnett on Jan. 12.

Barnett has worked for Shelter Insurance of Greenfield, 222 N. State St., for 29 years.

● Car wash business opens in Greenfield

GREENFIELD — Dave’s Super Car Care, 1749 W. Main St., is now open in Greenfield.

The car wash is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

The business is offering an opening special; customers can receive half off a monthly subscription for unlimited car washes, which range between $30 and $70 a month depending on the services offered.

Individual washes start at $9.

The company plans to open a concession stand at the end of the January. It will offer hamburgers, onion rings, french fries, hot dogs and ice cream.
