Greenfield man in jail on solicitation charge
GREENFIELD — Prosecutors have filed formal charges against a Greenfield man arrested Tuesday during an investigation of child solicitation.
Nicholas Trautmann, 22, remains in the Hancock County Jail on charges of child solicitation, a Level 5 felony, and dissemination of matters harmful to minors, a Level 6 felony.
Trautmann requested a lewd photo from a juvenile via social media websites and text messages, according to an Indiana State Police release.
Trautmann’s computer and cellphone were seized Tuesday when police raided his home in the 700 block of Shel-Lyn Court, officials said.
