Dragons ranked fourth overall in Power Poll

The New Palestine wrestling team was ranked fourth overall in Indiana Mat’s first Power Poll of 2016.

The Dragons carry a 9-1 dual-meet record this season.

Five local wrestlers hold spots in rankings

The New Palestine Dragons have four wrestlers in the latest individual rankings released by Indiana Mat on Wednesday.

Three of the four are undefeated and two of those three are ranked first in their individual weight class. The unbeaten trio includes Alec White at 113 pounds, Chad (C.J.) Red at 132 and Jared Timberman at 145.

Greenfield-Central’s Gavin Rose broke through at 106 pounds in the recent rankings with the Hoosier Heritage Conference meet set for Saturday.
