Mrs. Cathy I. Schuyler, 63, of Cookeville, passed away unexpectedly at Cookeville Regional Medical Center Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015. Mrs. Schuyler was born Dec. 20, 1952, in Rushville, to Tommy and Ellen Steward Mummert.
She enjoyed arts and crafts and was an accomplished artist. She and her husband Dwight attended The Church On The Hill in Algood. Cathy had recently retired from Benchmark Services here in Cookeville.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Schuyler is survived by her husband, Dwight “Gene” Schuyler; one son, Richard Kline (Jessica) of Sweetwater, Tenn.; three stepchildren, Renee Knapp (E.J.) and Jeremiah Schuyler, both of Shirley, and Julia Perriman (Steve) of Mt. Vernon, MO. Cathy is also survived by two sisters, Beth Lillard of Knightstown and Lori Mercer (Clarke) of Greenfield, as well as three brothers, David Mummert (Mary) of Arlington Ind., Tony Mummert (Linda) of Morristown and Tim Mummert of Lebanon, MO. In addition, Mrs. Schuyler is survived by one grandson, Brandon Kline and eight stepgrandchildren, Mahala, Olivia, Alicia, and Shawna Knapp and Ezekiel, Destiny, Desera and Katana Perriman and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family has chosen cremation at Cathy’s rquest and a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at the Church On The Hill in Algood Tenn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial cntributions may be made to Christian Children’s Charities.
