Regina Ann (Risk) Barr, 42, of Fortville, passed away at Community North Hospital, on Tuesday, Dec., 22, 2015, following an extended illness. She was born on Nov.,16, 1973, in Greenfield, to Rebecca (Wehr) Addison, who precedes her in death.
Regina was a homemaker who devoted her life to taking care of her family. She enjoyed watching NASCAR with her family and cheering-on Jimmy Johnson! She enjoyed watching cooking programs on television and playing video games with her family — she was a formidable opponent at bowling and golf video games.
Regina is survived by one son, Alan Barr, Jr. of Fortville; one daughter, Renee Ashley Barr of Fortville; brother, Scott Risk of Carmel; one sister, Angela (Mark) Hill of New Palestine; one granddaughter, Lilee Ann Barr of Fortville; her stepfather, John Addison of Fortville and stepmother, Karen Risk of Carmel. Joseph (Alex) Hicks and George Spears, who were like a “second sons” to her also survive, as do many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of 19 years, Russell Barr.
Visitation will be held from 4-7p.m., Wednesday, Dec., 30, 2015, at Daybreak Community Church, 1219 Main Street, Lapel, IN. Cremation will follow.
