Susan L. (Hopkins) Dean, 52, of New Palestine, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015. She was born on April 20, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, as the daughter of Donald and Norma (McGillivray) Hopkins.
Susan is survived by her loving husband, Michael S. Dean of New Palestine; brother, Greg (Ellen) Hopkins of Dayton, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Norma (McGillivray) Hopkins and daughter, Stephanie N. Dean.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Mark Wesler will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
