Rebecca ‘Lisa’ Ratliff Eckard

Rebecca “Lisa” Ratliff Eckard, 57, passed away Monday, Dec. 14, 2015.

She was passionate about numerous causes and always tried to help others. She loved all animals, was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling the world. Her hobbies were cooking and crafting. Lisa was a professional photographer and a paralegal. She will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved her.

Surviving Lisa are her mother and stepfather, Shelby and John Bradford of Kennesaw, Ga.; father and stepmother, Jack and Brenda Ratliff of Fortville; loving ex-husband, Stephen Eckard; special aunt, Nita (Duge) Wilson Butler of Indianapolis; sisters, Kellie (Kam) Singh of Gainesville, Ga. and Kerrie (Rex) Bonham of Fairland; brother, Greg Ratliff of Savannah, Ga.; half-brothers, Jeff Ratliff of Fortville, Jason (Sandra) Ratliff of Fortville, Jack (Autumn) Ratliff of Nashville, Tenn. and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jon Christopher Ratliff.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary, 124 E. Staat St., Fortville, IN 46040. A celebration of life will immediately follow, beginning at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hancock County Humane Society, 214 E. Main St., Greenfield, IN 46140 or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
