KidsPlay planning workshop for audition tips, technique
GREENFIELD — KidsPlay Inc. children’s theater presents an audition workshop for kids in third through eighth grades from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 7 at the KidsPlay Dungeon, 98 E. North St. In addition to audition tips and techniques, attendees will have a chance to review the script for the next KidsPlay production and meet the director. An enrollment fee of $5 is due at the door. To hold a spot in the workshop, email your child’s name, age, and emergency contact info to [email protected] with “workshop” in the subject line.
Vendors sought for indoor garage sale at fairgrounds
After a three-year absence, the indoor garage sale is returning to the Hancock County 4-H fairgrounds, 620 N. Apple St., with a new name and a new focus. KidsPlay Inc. is resurrecting the midwinter event, now called Arts & Rummage, as a fundraising project for the children’s theater. The sale takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 16.
For those interested in renting a table for this all-purpose indoor sale, space is available for $40 to artists, crafters, small businesses or those who want to set up a flea market or rummage sale table. Extra tables are $20 each.
