Hancock Democrats select new party leader

GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Democrats have selected a new party leader.

Randy Johnson replaces former chairman Phil Hunt, who officially resigned Monday, citing an increased workload.

The leadership change comes as the party prepares for the 2016 election cycle. Candidates can begin filing to run for office on Jan. 6.
