Paul Edward ‘Tater’ Tate

Paul Edward “Tater” Tate, 90, of Fortville, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at home. He was born on Jan. 19, 1925, to Daniel A. and Delia (Seymour) Tate in Noblesville.

Paul was a pipe fitter for Eli Lilly of Greenfield for 36 years. He proudly served his country with the Army and was a WWII veteran. He attended Fishers United Methodist Church and was a member of the Fishers Masonic Lodge #533, and the Scottish Rite. Paul loved coin collecting, racing and crossword puzzles.

He is survived by his wife, of 68 years, Ruby (McKinnon) Tate; daughter, Donna (Bruce) Marks; son, Tony (Kathi) Tate; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers, with visitation beginning at Noon. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Fishers.
