● Chamber plans fashion show

GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce will host a fashion show Nov. 20 at Cynthia’s Hallmark, 1584 N. State St.

Tickets cost $15 and will cover wine tastings, appetizers and entry into a raffle. Attendees also receive a scarf.

Registration for the fashion show will start at 6 p.m., with the show following at 6:15.

Tickets can be purchased at greenfieldcc.org, at Cynthia’s Hallmark or at the Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce, 1 Courthouse Plaza.

● Free computer training scheduled

GREENFIELD — WorkOne Greenfield, a local organization that aims to connect job-seekers with careers, is conducting several free computer training events.

An event from 9 to 11 a.m. on Dec. 10 will train participants how to use Microsoft PowerPoint.

Space is limited, and individuals should call 317-462-7711 to reserve a seat. The events will be conducted at the WorkOne office in Greenfield, 836 S. State St.

● Chamber set for networking event

NEW PALESTINE — The Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce will have a networking event on Thursday at the New Palestine Lions Club, 5242 U.S. 52 West.

Networking will begin at 7:30 a.m., and presentations from local speakers will run from 8 to 9 a.m.

Mark Fuqua, an accountant for Sprinkle CPA, will lead a presentation about the best accounting practices for businesses to follow.

● Local gift shop sets wine tasting

GREENFIELD — Red Banana, a downtown gift shop located at 14 N. State St., will hold a wine tasting on Nov. 20.

The event, which will run from 6:30 to 10 p.m., will feature live music by Fingertrip, an R&B band from nearby New Castle. A cash bar will be available to guests.
