Rosemarie (Flinchum) Christopher, 73, of Greenfield, and previously of Knightstown, passed away Saturday Nov. 7, 2015. She was born on April 18, 1943, in Chicago, to the late Mary (Nelson) and John Flinchum. She met her husband, William Christopher Jr. at a dance in 1964.

She was a member of the Knightstown United Methodist Church for over 40 years. Rosemarie has also been a member of the Henry County Art Association and a signature member of the Water Color Society of Indiana. After graduating from the Indianapolis Art Center, she taught water color classes for several years. In addition to her art, she enjoyed traveling and photography.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 50 years, William “Bill” Christopher Jr.; sons, Scott, Keith, Brian (Lisa) Christopher; daughter, Diane (Greg) Christopher Butler; brothers, John, Jeff, Jim and Joe Flinchum; sister, Joanne (Willie) Flinchum Selson; stepbrothers, Adam and John Flinchum; 11 grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Rosemarie was preceded in death by her stepfather, James Nelson and daughter-in-law, Teresa Christopher.

Friends may visit from 4 – 6 p.m. Nov. 12, 2015, prior to service, which will immediately follow at 6 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown, with Pastor Curt Hunt to preside. Private burial will be Friday , Nov. 13, 2015, in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
