Theresa Margaret Oyler, devoted mother, grandmother & caregiver, 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 6, 2015. Theresa was born April 16, 1939, in Indianapolis, to Eleanor and Bingham Howell.
Theresa graduated in 1974, with her nursing degree from Indiana University, Indianapolis, and worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Methodist Hospital. Once retired from nursing, Theresa was part of raising and caring for a countless number of children and was a mother to so many. She was an avid reader, enjoyed classical music, sewing, gardening, crocheting and cooking.
She is survived by five children, seven grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W. US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130 with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, where Theresa was an active member, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 East 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219. Father Juan Valdes will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
