Beulah Elma (Floyd) Jones, 93, of Morristown, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born on Dec. 2, 1921 in Bunch, Ky., as the daughter of William M. and Sally (Rogers) Floyd. Beulah married Russell Jones on Jan. 25, 1946, in Indianapolis.

She was a homemaker and a member of Morristown Christian Church. She was an avid writer and published a book: "I Was Just Thinking… My Thoughts About Life" in 2013. Beulah loved to sew and cook and was well known for her delicious fried chicken. As a hobby Beulah and her husband loved remodeling homes.  She also loved socializing at Taco Bell in Greenfield.

Beulah is survived by her six children, Reta Hannell of Bloomington, Lora (Ron) McMichael of Morristown, Gary (Nida) Jones of Morristown, Morris (Anita) Jones of Lebanon, Marvin (Tammie) Jones of Fountaintown and Ed Jones of Morristown; 27 grandchildren; 44 great- grandchildren and one great- great- grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William M. and Sally Floyd; husband, Russell Jones; siblings, Thelma, Birchel, Flossie, Elmer, Leighton, Delbert, Mildred, Betty and Faye; daughter-in-law, Cheri Jones and grandson, Christopher Hannell.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, also at the mortuary. Mrs. Jones’ sons will be presiding over her services. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
