Michael Todd O’Brien, 46, of New Palestine, passed away Nov. 4, 2015, surrounded by loved ones in his home after a courageous 9 month battle with cancer. Michael was born in Indianapolis, on Aug. 21, 1969.
Michael graduated from John Marshall High School and was a supervisor for Republic Services of Indiana, with 19 years of dedicated service.
Survivors include wife, DeAnna R. Wesley-O’Brien; son, Michael Todd O’Brien; stepsons, Brandon Matthew Snyder and Clayton Jack Wesley; daughter, Taylor Michelle O’Brien; parents, Darlene and Gene Bias; father-in-law, Herbert C. Eldridge; sister, Carrie Michelle O’Brien; sisters-in-law, Angela R. Spiegel and Penny Eldridge; brother-in-laws, Matthew R. Eldridge, and Norman D. Spiegel; grandson, Bryson M. Nowling-O’Brien and nephew, Connor N. Pugh-O’Brien.
He was preceded in death by brother, Patrick Shawn O’Brien; mother-in-law, Wilma L. Eldridge; grandparents; Charles and Anita O’Brien and Robert and Hilda Koser.
Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov.7, 2015, at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 West US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN with visitation beginning at 5 p.m. at the same location.
