Jack R. Milner, 83, of Gainesville, Fla., died Friday, Oct. 23, 2015. He was born on April 24, 1932, in Ingalls, as the son of Emery and Alberta (Burns) Milner. He graduated from Pendleton High School in 1950.
He is survived by his sons, Jack Wayne Milner of New Castle, James R. Milner of New Castle, Jeffery L. Milner of Beech Grove and John A. Milner of New Castle; step-children, Greg Johnson, George Johnson and Jami Johnson; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emery and Alberta Milner; wife, Evelyn Milner and brother, Don Milner.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at Mendon Cemetery in Pendleton. Chaplain Richard Byrd will be officiating.
