HANCOCK COUNTY — The 2015-2016 class of Leadership Hancock County recently explored some of the county’s most historic sites.

Leadership Hancock County is a program that cultivates leadership by providing a series of experiences and training designed to familiarize local residents and workers about the county they serve.

At the group’s most recent meeting, the class started the day with a history lesson by local historian Rosalie Richardson; it then toured the Thomas Log Cabin and the Kingen Round Barn in McCordsville.

The group also toured Tuttle Orchards in Greenfield and the James Whitcomb Riley Boyhood Home and Museum in downtown Greenfield.
