McCORDSVILLE — A group of firefighters led students from McCordsville Elementary School through a series of safety demonstrations last week.
Students learned techniques for navigating a building in case of a fire, including the best practices for checking a door for heat that could indicate danger on the other side.
Students saw firefighters demonstrate how their firetruck works and had an opportunity to ask questions.
