Beverly Jean (Spivey) Lesher, 92, of Greenfield, passed away on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice. She was born on Oct. 29, 1922, in Elkhart, as the daughter of William and Minnie Spivey. Beverly married Roy Otto Lesher on Oct. 15, 1938.

She was a cashier at Standard Grocery and Big Blue and also worked for Rayon Factory. Mrs. Lesher was a member of Trinity Park United Methodist Church. Beverly adored her family and treasured being a mother and a housewife. She loved playing cards and attending euchre club. She also enjoyed crafts, colored pencil art, writing poetry.

Beverly is survived by her son, Donald (Karen) Lesher of Greenwood; six grandchildren, Brian Lesher, Mike Lesher, Michele Youngman, Doug Janes, Gary Janes and Tammy McMasters; eight great- grandchildren and two great- great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie Spivey; husband, Roy Lesher; daughter, Sandra Janes and two sisters, Cleta Hummer and Ann Endicott.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, at the mortuary. Pastor David Woods will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
