Local bank to conduct trick-or-treat event

HANCOCK COUNTY — Greenfield Banking Co. will conduct a trick-or-treat event for local children who are 12 or younger on Oct. 31.

Children are asked to wear costumes for the event, which will run from 9 a.m. to noon and will feature candy, games, contests and prizes. All Greenfield Bank Co. locations are participating:

Greenfield company schedules hiring event

GREENFIELD — Covance Laboratories will conduct a hiring event for customer service representatives from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

The event will take place at the company’s campus in Greenfield, 2001 W. Main St. Candidates should bring resumes to the event.

Waste Management plans collection event

HANCOCK COUNTY — Hancock County Solid Waste Management District is holding an electronics collection event from 9 a.m. to noon. Saturday at the Fortville Municipal Building, 714 E. Broadway St.
