Jeff Ferguson, 56, transferred to heaven on Tuesday Oct. 20, 2015. He looked forward to seeing Jesus. Next, he wanted to see his girlfriend Katie, who died two years ago. He was looking forward to no more seizures and no more wheelchairs. Now he is free and healthy. Praise God. He was a wonderful son, who was very thankful for all that we did for him. He was always saying, “Thank you mother and daddy for helping me.”
Jeff worked at Shares, Inc. sheltered workshop for 37 years, which was his favorite thing to do, next to going to the Father’s house on Sunday. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Greenfield.
Jeff leaves behind his parents, Jerry and Janet (Forth) Ferguson; sisters, Sandy (Scott) Skokal of Carmel and Crystal (Gregg) Gordon of Indianapolis; his precious caregiver, Armina Jean Roth, who has been a companion to him; two nieces, Megan and Rachel Gordon and a nephew, Aidan Skokal.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at Noon on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Services will be conducted by Pastor Roger Kinion. Private burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jeff’s name to Calvary Baptist Church, 1450 W. Main St., Greenfield, IN 46140 or to Shares, Inc., 645 South State St., Greenfield, IN 46140.
