Maxine B. (Brosman) Condra, 86, of Greenfield, passed away on Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born on Aug. 13, 1929, in Indianapolis, as the daughter of Andy J. and Effie M. (Brown) Brosman. She graduated from Bloomington High School in 1948. Maxine married Charles E. Condra on June 8, 1948, in Bloomington.

She was a hair stylist and owned Personal Touch Salon for 15 years before retiring in 1988. Mrs. Condra was a member of Trinity Park United Methodist Church and was a Lions/Lioness in Greenfield. She was a past treasurer of the Lioness and served as a chairman on several committees. Maxine enjoyed crafts, cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, traveling and playing board games with her grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Maxine is survived by her loving husband, Charles Condra; daughters, Debra (Paul) Fisher, Charla Condra and Penny Gamble; daughter-in-law, Jackie Cecil; grandchildren, Christopher (Tracy) Fisher, Timothy (Jennifer) Fisher, Benjamin (Brandy) Fisher, Chelsea Fox, Emily and Zachary Gamble; great- grandchildren, Riley Fisher, Maggie Fisher, Anderson Fisher, Lucy and Alice Fisher and Elliana Gamble; stepgrandchildren, Christopher (April) Fetz and Drew Fetz; great-stepgrandchildren, Brea and Cydnee Fetz and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andy J. and Effie M. (Brown) Brosman; brothers, Donald and Gene Brosman and son, Richard J. Condra.

Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. on Thursday,        Oct. 22, 2015, with a Lions Club Service at 7 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday,      Oct. 23, 2015, at Trinity Park United Methodist Church, 207 W. Park Avenue, Greenfield, IN 46140. Rev. Mike Manning will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
