Local restaurant recognized by Indianapolis organization

GREENFIELD — The Mug, a farm-to-table restaurant, was recently recognized by Slow Food Indy as one of the best local, sustainable restaurants in central Indiana.

Local veterinarian to conduct Halloween event

NEW PALESTINE — The Vet will conduct a Halloween-themed open house event from noon to 3 p.m. on Oct. 31.

The event, Howl-O-Ween, will feature a pet costume contest, dental cleaning demonstration and tours of the clinic, 7299 W. U.S. 52. Call 317-623-5019 for more information.
