Patricia “Lavon” Stevens, 78, of Knightstown, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born Nov. 21, 1936, in Carthage, the daughter of Russell and Ollie Cleo (Rayburn) Logan.

Lavon retired from Sugar Creek Convalescent Center near Cumberland where she worked as a cook. She enjoyed gardening, playing BINGO, flowers, shopping and cooking. Lavon had a great love for her husband and family and was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, of 61 years, Bob Stevens of Knightstown; two daughters, Joan Stevens of Somerset, Ky. and Pam (Brian) Shores of Anderson; a son, Robert Leon Stevens of Riverview, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; a brother, Clayton Logan of Carthage; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Stevens; daughter, Suzanne Tamara Stevens and granddaughter, Amanda Stevens.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct.16, 2015 Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Randy Gross officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
