Road closure planned in McCordsville area
McCORDSVILLE — Sections of County Road 900N in McCordsville will be closed Monday through Wednesday for installation of a sewer line.
The road will be closed between county roads 600W and 700W. Access for local traffic will be available from County Road 600W.
2015 trick-or-treat hours set for county
HANCOCK COUNTY — Towns and cities across Hancock County have announced trick-or-treat hours for Halloween 2015.
In Greenfield and Fortville, hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31.
The Town of McCordsville will hold an inaugural trunk-or-treat event from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 31 at town hall, 6280 W. County Road 800N. Traditional trick-or-treat hours are 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.
New Palestine families can pass out candy from 5 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 31.
Neighborhoods outside city or town limits should keep to the county’s official 5 to 8 p.m. trick-or-treat hours, officials said.
