Art fair planned in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS — The first Monument Circle Art Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis. Pumpkin carvers to compete

GREENFIELD — Create your own pumpkin carving masterpiece and bring it to the front entrance of the Ricks Centre, 122 W. Main St., from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday for the Hancock County Arts Council’s ArtoberFest. People’s choice judging in two categories, age 13 and under and 14 to adult, will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. Pumpkins should be picked up by 8 p.m. Participation in this event is free.

Film showing at library

GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie, presents the 1937 film “Night Must Fall,” starring Rosalind Russell and Robert Montgomery, at 6:45 p.m. today. The showing is part of the Black, White & Fright Film Festival. A tranquil British village is being terrorized by a series of violent murders. Meanwhile, Olivia (Russell) feels a strange attraction to the handsome young cockney (Montgomery) who’s just arrived in town toting a mysteriously heavy hatbox. GREENFIELD — Adults who enjoy anime and manga are welcome to attend Anime Club for Adults from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie.
