Betty J. Lowe, 88, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, at Franciscan St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on Dec. 9, 1926, in Greensboro, Ind., to the late Carrol E. and Elsie I. (Grey) Smith.
She graduated from Kennard High School. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Betty loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing.
Betty is survived by husband, Robert L. Lowe; stepson, Robert “Bob” (Kim) Lowe of Indianapolis and brother, Ken Smith of Rome City, Ind,; five grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and daughters, Terri Bridge and Jerri Picha.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home in Greenfield, Ind. Burial will be at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
