Georgia Lavern Coffman
Georgia Lavern Coffman, 79, of Greenfield, passed away late Sunday evening Sept. 27, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born Oct. 20, 1935, in Indianapolis and was the daughter of the late Edward Sr. & Frances (Beckenball) Moore.
Georgia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Georgia was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Georgia is survived by her children, Patti Colwell of Greenfield and Mike Coffman of Indianapolis; sister Elizabeth Seipel of Georgia; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a niece Linda Seipel Menendez of Georgia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Walter Coffman; son Walter Vern Coffman and brother Edward Moore Jr..
Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Oct. 7, 2015, at Bethel Baptist Church, 1610 South State Street, Greenfield with Associate Pastor Tommy Hensley Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
