Doris A. “Dee” Marcum, 71, of Shelbyville, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, in Shelbyville. She was born Aug. 23, 1944, in Greenfield, the daughter of Bernice Trent. Doris graduated from Greenfield High School in 1962.
She was formerly a secretary for Davis Homes. Doris enjoyed spending time with her friends at Charles Major Manor
Doris is survived by her son, Todd A. Marcum of Shelbyville; brother, Don (Ellen) Trent, of Florida and grandson, Conner Marcum.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Kathy Marcum; sisters, Janet Taylor and Kay Bednarski; brother, Jimmy Trent and brother-in-law, Ray Bednarski.
Private family services will be observed.
Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
