Carol Sue (Leonard) Russell, 59, of Indianapolis, died on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015. She was born on Feb. 12, 1956.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Lenny Russell; daughters, Andrea Russell (Jeff Straw), April Russell (Scott Clinard) and Megan Diamond; son-in-law, Michael Diamond; two honorary sons; five grandchildren; mother, Carolyn Leonard; sisters, Vicky Leonard, Sandy (Vince) Ryon and Jill (Jesse) Campbell; brothers, Michael (Beth) Leonard and Anthony Leonard; one honorary sister; sisters-in-laws, Mary Jensen, Aggie Dodd, Kathy Russell, Chardell Russell and Eileen Dyson; brothers-in-law, Bo Russell, Donny Russell and Tony Russell; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Ray Leonard in 2011; mother and father-in-law, Edward E. and Marguerite Russell and brother-in-laws, Joseph Russell and Danny Robert Russell.
A memorial gathering will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent directly to the donor’s favorite charity.
